Our Approach To Education
Did you know that global poverty could be halved if all adults completed secondary school education? [UNESCO]
Our Education Program is focused on improving the quality of education of vulnerable children living in poverty in Kenya.
Our results show that by receiving quality education, these children are more likely to enter and complete secondary school. In fact, between 2016-2019, we saw a 27.6% increase in the number of students transitioning from primary to secondary school at the centre and in the schools we collaborate with.
At Chazon Africa, we work together with all levels of government, local partners, the community and teachers to implement and embed a range of projects that focus on educating the the vulnerable children in Molo and lifting the quality of education in local schools.
Chazon children centre has a community-oriented model made up of dynamic networks of people and services that ensure no vulnerable child is overlooked.

Our School Hive Model
The Chazon children centre hive model is made up of dynamic networks of people and services that ensure no vulnerable child is overlooked.
The hive model is co-created with members of the local community,
the local government, the child protection officers, the Kenya red cross, social development officers and most importantly the financial and mentorship Partners, they all ensure the model meets the specific
needs for every child in chazon children center.
The networks in chazon children centre hive model facilitate holistic interventions in children’s lives, taking this child from a place of vulnerability to empowerment. With your help, we can reach hundreds more children and educate them with our school Hive model.
Beyond primary education, we partner with secondary schools to deliver projects that ensure there are clear pathways for our students to complete secondary school. This includes providing scholarships to our brightest and most vulnerable students, supporting them through out their secondary education .
