Chazon Africa focuses on PROTECTING, EDUCATING, and EMPOWERING.
CHAZON AFRICA is a non-governmental organization established in 2007 and registered by the NGOs board of Kenya.
Chazon Africa’s overall objective is to improve the quality of life in Molo and the counties around it.

“Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
As stated by the United Nations, the reasons for lack of quality education are due to lack of adequately trained teachers, poor conditions of schools and equity issues related to opportunities provided to rural children.
We are all about goal number 4 and addressing these inadequacies and inequalities. We believe education changes everything and without it, there is no hope for a poverty-free world.

Why Education?
The United Nations’ Global Goals for Sustainable Development aim to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and protect our planet by 2030.
To do this, children need to receive a quality education. “Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to improving people’s lives and sustainable development.” — United Nations

Chazon Africa Rescue Centre ensures that the children we rescue have a –
Peaceful society – to Rescue and protect children from violence, exploitation and abuse.
Just society – to ensure that every child is fully respected, protected and fulfilled.
Inclusive society – to engage all children in processes and decisions that affect them and society more broadly.

RESCUE | REHABILITATE | REINTAGRATE
Millions of children around the world wake up daily to the risk of violence, exploitation and abuse.
Children who have lost or do not live with their parents, and children living in the streets are some of the most vulnerable.But children anywhere can be exposed to physical, psychological or sexual abuse and violence in the classroom, at home or out there in the streets.
That’s why Chazon Rescue Centre works to create a protective environment for all children as well as responding to the more complex needs of the most vulnerable children to improve their situations, and their mental health and wellbeing.

We seek to build strong economic foundations for all our beneficiaries.
Sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth is essential for this will only be possible if wealth is shared and income inequality is addressed.
At Chazon Africa we work to build dynamic, sustainable, and people centered empowerment projects, promoting youth employment and women’s economic empowerment, in particular, and decent work for all.
We adopt policies which increase productive capacities, productivity and productive employment; financial inclusion and sustainable agriculture development

We connect with women, so they can create income generating opportunities to provide life-essentials, including food, clothing, shelter and education, for their families, and build a more secure and sustainable future. It inspires the education of their own children, and in this way, we can empower and educate whole communities for generations to come.
